Daniel
Daniel’s career in logistics began in Germany, at one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs. Over more than 22 years he has worked both in flexible, specialised transport companies and in large international logistics organisations.
Out of these two worlds came a strong view of what good logistics service looks like at its best: personal and flexible service, combined with professionally managed, reliable transport chains that meet international requirements.
Daniel has about 15 years of experience specifically in freight forwarding and organising international transport. Over the years he saw a clear need in the market for a company that could combine the personal service of a small business with the expertise and capacity of a large logistics company.
That idea was the beginning of NEL.

Jasmin
Jasmin’s path into logistics began where transport really happens – behind the wheel of a truck.
Working as a driver gave her a practical understanding of schedules, routes, safety, regulations and the constantly changing situations that are part of everyday road transport. It also gave her a deep respect for drivers, for the cargo and for the promises made to customers.
Jasmin later moved into operational management of transport and on to company administration and planning. Nearly a decade of experience in the transport industry gives her a rare overall picture of how the work on the road, the control of transport and the company’s back-office processes fit together.
At NEL, Jasmin is responsible in particular for administrative management and for making sure that agreements, requirements and internal processes support smooth day-to-day operations.
Our story
NEL – Nordic Express & Logistics
NEL was born from Daniel and Jasmin’s shared idea of building a logistics company where personal service, strong practical experience and a professionally managed international transport network come together.
Daniel brings decades of experience in road transport and freight forwarding, and strong networks in Finland, the Nordic countries and especially Germany – one of Europe’s most important transport markets.
Jasmin brings practical experience from the road all the way to the operational and administrative management of a transport company.
Together, their experience covers more than 30 years across different areas of transport and logistics.
NEL is also backed by its own transport equipment and an established network of partners. This lets us manage the transport chain as a whole and offer customers one smooth service between the Nordic countries and continental Europe.
At NEL, logistics is not just moving goods from one place to another. It means responsibility for the whole journey.
